A select wine and grilled seafood tapas pairing from Bluefin restaurant in the Portland Harbor Hotel's lovely garden,
a sea voyage to Great Diamond Island on a UB85 charter boat (with more wine and an appetizer, of course),
even more wine and surf and turf tapas on the patio at the Inn at Diamond Cove as well as in the hotel's Diamond's Edge restaurant, and
finally, dessert on the return voyage to the mainland.
Along the way you'll hear about the history of Fort McKinley and Diamond Cove.

Sommelier Erica Archer:
Archer is a true oenophile, having obtained high levels of certification in her field. In 2010, she was awarded the Wine Spirit and Education Trust Level Three Advanced Certification in Wines and Spirits (with merit), became a Sommelier in the American Court of Master Sommeliers, and received her Certified Wine Professional award from the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California. Erica is the principal of Wine Wise, a wine education and events service and is skilled at creating truly creative and memorable wine experiences that take guests beyond a typical tasting with her intimate understanding of what makes each wine unique. And she’ll do it with her trademark sense of humor.
About Chef Gil Plaster:
Executive Chef Gil Plaster is a Mainer himself and has a passion for creating new and unexpected meals with fresh, locally-caught seafood and seasonal ingredients when they are at their peak. His dishes will impress locals and visitors alike.

We’ll meet on the patio at Bluefin North Atlantic Seafood restaurant located inside the Portland Harbor Hotel. You’ll receive a more detailed email a few days before your event. Please refer to our FAQ page for answers to questions that you may be wondering about.
Cancellations/Reschedules/No Shows
Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. Tickets are refundable, less a $10 per ticket credit card transaction fee, up until midnight on 6/1/2019. Cancellations after that date are non refundable. Thank you for your understanding. You are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place or sell your own tickets. Just make sure we have the ticket holder's email address so we can send them the event notifications so they are aware of where to find us and any day-of weather related notifications. There are no refunds for no shows. Makes sense, right?
