2016 Cantina del Pino, Ovello, Barbaresco

The Ovello vineyard, located in one of Barbaresco’s most historic sites, is characterized by limestone and sandy soils with south/southwest exposures. Managed by the Vacca family since 1912, Cantina del Pino is celebrated for its commitment to crafting wines that reflect the vineyard’s unique terroir.

The 2016 Ovello Barbaresco opens with aromas of red cherry, rose petal, and dried herbs, evolving into flavors of ripe plum, tobacco, and earthy spice. Its refined tannins and vibrant acidity create a harmonious balance, leading to a long, elegant finish.
